Whitewater (6) 73, FOE (3) 66
Tournament action brings out the best in Whitewater as they shocked FOE in the early game. Whitewater was paced by their guard play with Sam Musler dropping 24 and Jake Gubitose adding 15. Andrew Musler had 17 for Whitewater as well. FOE got 15 from Justin Nieves, 15 from Romeo Diaz and 13 from Nate Simpson in the defeat. 

SBBE (5) 48, Skyhookers (4) 37
SBBE used their usual balanced attack lead by Derek Mayo (11), Kyle Romich (11) and Tim Juitt (10) to punch their ticket to the semis. The Skyhookers bowed out with 13 from Captain Jack Barrett.

TMT (2) 82, Big State (7) 67
Like a heavyweight boxer TMT had an answer for every punch thrown by Big State. David Gratton (20), Tim Jones (20) and Drew Venter (16) lead the charge in victory. While Ryan Sheehan posted 18 for Big State in defeat. 

Player of the Week: Sam Musler (Whitewater) Scored big basket after big basket to get Whitewater through to the semis

FOE 90, Big State 76
FOE got a balanced attack lead by Jesus Moore with 23 points, Nate Simpson with 18 and Justin Nieves with 17 and held off Big State late. Big State got 25 from Ryan Flynn and 20 from Derek Retos. FOE ends up with the 3rd seed (after dropping their tiebreaker with TMT). Big State will be the 7th seed. 

SBBE 80, Whitewater 67
KYLE Romich had 38 points for SBBE and Tim Juitt kicked in 21 as SBBE held off an offensive explosion from Whitewater's Sam Musler who had 29 points. Jake Gubitose chipped in 15.  This game decides the 5 and 6 seeds as SBBE moves into the 5 slot.

TMT 52, Harvard 34
David Gratton had 14 as TMT held off Harvard. Drew Vetner added 11 in the W. TMT locks up the 2 seed while Harvard will look to play spoilers from the 8 spot. 

Skyhookers 83, 508 Athletics 78
The Skyhookers pulled a big W out late as they move into sole possession of 4th place. Jay Kleinbart (23 points) and Alex Hanson (15 points) hit big shots and Patrick Barnes (22 points) gave them an inside out threat as they handed 508 Athletics their first loss. 508 got 28 from Matt Miller and 17 from Tony Awad. 

Player of the Week: Kyle Romich. SBBE. 38 points in a big win for SBBE.

FOE 64, SBBE 58
FOE downed SBBE in a game of acronyms. FOE got great balance but Justin Nieves (17) and Jesus Moore (12 points) lead the charge. SBBE got 16 out of Derek Mayo and 17 from Tim Juitt but fell late.

Whitewater 93, Skyhookers 76
Whitewater shot it well from downtown as Andrew Musler (22), Sam Musler (13), Matt Gustas (17) and Tom Flannery (14) shouldered the load scoring wise. The Skyhookers got 40 from Jeff Manchester who continues to make a mockery of league defenses. 

TMT 79, Big State 59
Tim Jones (24) and David Gratton (19) lead the charge for TMT Isiah Duke chipped in 10 in the victory. Big State got 17 from Tank Roberson and 10 from Eric Gugliemello in the defeat.

508 Athletics 70, Harvard 58
508 is trying to run the regular season table and got 22 from Chris Klimchock and 16 from Matt Miller in tonight's victory. Harvard was paced by Gabe Onor with 15 and Matt Gschwand (great scrabble name) with 14.

Player of the Week: Andrew Musler (Whitewater). 22 points and got others involved in a game they needed to have.

FOE 97, Whitewater 66
Romeo Diaz (41 points) and Nate Simpson (20) lead the way as FOE continued their winning ways with a win in the 6P game against Whitewater (who were looking sharpe in Purple). Andrew Musler had 25 in defeat.

508 Athletics 60, SBBE 58
In a back and forth tilt a depleted 508 Athletics downed a depleted SBBE. SBBE were paced by Tim Juitt with 18 and Derek Mayo with 14 in defeat. 508 got a huge lift from Phil Alibrandi with 22 and Tony Awad with 16. 

Big State 71, Harvard 67
Big State continued their winning ways with a gutty 5 man effort. Ryan Sheehan (25 points), Sam Herrick (22) and Derek Retos (20) paced the offense while Eric Gugliemello lead the charge defensively. Harvard kept coming as the game went on and got 19 from Zach Zahner and 19 from Matt Gschwand. 

Skyhookers 62, TMT 61
Jack Barrett (17) and Austin Pinckney (17) made plays down the stretch to hold off the always formidable TMT squad. TMT got 14 from Dave Gratton and 11 from Chris Andrew.

Player of the Week: Jack Barrett, Skyhookers. Willed them to victory down the stretch and posted their 3rd straight win.

FOE 99, Harvard 63
FOE had an offensive explosion in the early game as Romeo Diaz (30), Jesus Moore (20) and Nate Simpson (18) shouldered the load in the 6 PM game. Harvard was paced by Matt Gschwend with 21 in defeat.

TMT 56, FOE 54
FOE playing a back to back was edged by the suddenly surging TMT. David Gratton had 26 for the victors as Chris Andrew chipped in 12. FOE got 17 from Romeo Diaz and 10 from Justin Nieves in defeat. 

Skyhookers 64, Harvard 44
The Skyhookers continued their winning ways as Jeff Manchester (24) and Pat Barnes (13) shouldered the scoring load and Jack Barrett (10 points) played the role of distributor. Harvard was paced by Anthony Morgan with 15 and Gabe Onor with 14.

508 Athletics 87, Whitewater 59
The balanced 508 Athletics attack just keeps soldiering on . Matt Miller (24), Tony Awad (21) and Chirs Payne (21) were the offensive catalysts as 508 cruised to their 4th straight win. Whitwater got 19 from Matt Gustas and 18 from Greg "Hoss" Harris in the defeat without their leading scoring Andrew Musler. 

Player of the Week: David Gratton (TMT) 26 of his team's 56 in a close fought W, as TMT improves to 3-1

508 Athletics 82, FOE 81 OT
March Madness came early to the BVBL as tonight's slate was full of close games. The first game was the game of the night as 2 heavyweight teams traded punches all game. 508 Athletics lead by Chris Kilmchock (15 points) and Matt Miller (25 points) had answers for seemingly every FOE run. FOE was lead by Justin Nieves with 22, Mike Ingram-Rubin with 22 and Jesus Moore with 18. However with under 10 seconds Nieves hit a shot to put FOE up 81-80. 508 was able to get a timeout with 2 seconds to go and run a length of the court play. Tony Awad (22) points got behind the defense and laid the ball in off a great pass from Matt Miller and 508 improved to 3-0. FOE falls to 1-1


Skyhookers 72, Big State 69
Big State ran into a buzzsaw in the person of Jeff Manchester who dropped 40 points in his BVBL East debut including the go ahead buckets late. Alex Hanson chipped in with 17 of his own. Big State was lead by Sam Herrick with 18 and Kris Johnson with 15 in the defeat. Skyhookers are now 1-2 while Big State fell to 0-3 before playing again right after.

Big State 68, SBBE 67 (OT)
Ryan Sheehan (19 points) and Kris Johnson (15) were the offensive catalysts for Big State- but Ian Therriault (17 points) and Cory Romich (12 points) had SBBE up 2 with time running down. Crafty veteran Ryan Flynn (12 points) hit a pull up with 3 seconds to go and sent Big State into the winner's circle at 1-3. SBBE falls to 2-2.

TMT 55,  Whitewater 49
In the nightcap Andrew Musler had 28 points for Whitewater, but it wasn't enough as TMT pulled away late for a hard fought victory. Isiah Duke had 12 for TMT and Jake Page added 12. While Tim Jones got most of his 10 points late in the game to pull out the victory. 

Player of the Week: Jeff Manchester (Skyhookers) 40 Points in a debut is impressive and it got the Skyhookers into the win column for the first time.

Whitewater 75, Harvard 65
In a game that was closer than the final score indicated Whitewater (2-0) held off Harvard (0-2). Harvard was paced by Tristan Threatt with 20 and Gabe Onor who had 16. Whitewater got their offense from Andrew Musler (22 points) and Matt Gustas (21 points) to move into a tie for first place early in the league slate.

TMT 46, SBBE 36
Chris Andrew (11 points) and David Gratton (12 points) lead the charge for TMT as they posted their first win on the young season (1-1). SBBE was lead by Derek Mayo with 11 and Cory Romich with 8 as they suffered their first defeat (1-1).

SBBE 54, Skyhookers 49
No rest for the weary as SBBE got right back at it in the 8 PM game. Cory Romich had 14 points and Brian O'Neill and Derek Mayo each tossed in 9 as SBBE avenged it's earlier defeat to run it's record to (2-1). Jack Barrett (16) and Rob Wennington and Phil O'Connor (12 each) lead the offense for the Skyhookers. 

508 Athletics 72, Big State 65
Chris Kilmchock (21 points) and Tony Awad (22 points) lead 508 Athletics to their second victory in as many weeks (2-0). They pulled away late from Big State who went cold in the second half. Big State was lead by Kris Johnson with 21 and Colin Halpin with 12 in defeat and are now 0-2. 

Player of the Week: Andrew Musler, Whitewater. Dropped 22 points as Whitewater solidified itself among the league's early elite.

F.O.E 87, Skyhookers 67 
F.O.E utilized a late run to put away the Skyhookers in the inaugural game of the BVBL East. Romeo Diaz (29 points) was the offensive catalyst for F.O.E but we has helped by 16 from Captain Jesus Moore and 12 from Justin Nieves. The Skyhookers got 19 from Jack Barrett and 18 from Jay Klienbart, while Alex Hanson kicked in 16. 

Whitewater 66, Big State 56
Andrew and Sam, the Flying Musler Brothers kicked in 17 each as Whitewater shot it's way to a 1-0 record. Matt Gustas also dropped in 10 mostly in the first half to open the Whitewater lead. Big State got 18 from Colin Halpin and 11 from Sam Herrick and Eric Gugielemello in the defeat. 

508 Athletics 86, TMT 69
508 Athletics placed 5 players in double figures as they opened up a lead late and got their first W. Chris Klimchock lead the way with 25 points, but Matt Miller gave them 22 and Jon Snediker (13), Tony Awad (14) and Phil Alibrandi (12) all reached double figures in the win. TMT got 24 from Tim Jones, while Jacob Page kicked in 21 and Drew Vetner had 16 in the defeat.

SBBE 53, Harvard 45
SBBE got 12 from Brian O'Neil and 12 from John Powell as they held on late for their first victory on the young season. Harvard got 9 big ones from Gabe Onor and 7 from Anthony Morgan and utilized a balanced yet tenacious attack.

Week One Player of the Week: Chris Klimchock, 508 Athletics, Opened up a close game late with his shooting (25 points) and also distributed for a number of assists in 508's week one victory.
